We had a big day planned for Kaden's 5th birthday! We were going to go to a water park up in Denver because the days of summer break were almost over and we were going to soak up the sun. Well, the weather had other plans. Late July and into August is monsoon season in these parts and on Kaden's birthday the weather was anything but happy. We didn't let that hinder our big birthday plans though. I asked Kaden if he could do anything he wanted for his birthday indoors what would he want to do. He said, "Let's go bowling and have pizza!" So that is exactly what we did. We didn't let a little rain ruin our day. It was the perfect day full of donuts, nerf guns, target shooting, cheesy pizza, green bowling balls, and time with my perfect little 5 year old.
