Celebrating Mardi Gras on Tybee Island...

This past weekend we ventured to Tybee Island to have some fun by the beach and to celebrate Mardi Gras 2011. The weather is already so nice here, it is wonderful! They had a fun parade and lots of entertainment. I love the beach and I love being so close to it. There is just this relaxing, laid back vibe about the beach. The people in Georgia are so friendly and warm. As we waited for the parade to start, we met some really nice people. The boys got quite a bit of beads just for being so cute!!!

Kaleb and Kaden and their very first set of Mardi Gras beads

The boys were trying to look down at the ocean
through the railng...so silly!
I love the beach

While we were waiting for the parade to start some
great bands entertained us and the boys danced to the music (see video of Kaden below)
There were a lot of people lining up to see the parade
Enjoying an ice cream treat before the parade started

Doggy Diva...so cute...the boys loved this dog and she was so sweet

A belly dancer came up to the boys and Kaleb was not
having it...he was totally unsure of her while Kaden just stared

These ladies were cute and funny

We must have worn the boys out because within a
matter of minutes the boys were asleep in their car seats:)
